Rosé
With over 270 individual listed Rosé style wines available in online stores we opted to give them their own category in muddler. Rosé deserves a category of its own, many of our customers prefer this style over the heavier reds and sometimes sharp white wines available. We are not saying Rosé cannot be heavy or sharp, but their flavor profile tends to be fruitier and fresher compared to the other genres of wine like red or white. Although Rosé is a mainstay in France and is equally popular in Spain (Rosado) and Italy (rosato) South Africa has always loved Rosé. In fact, many peoples first memory of wine will bring up images of the classic South African Rosé Nederburg bottle shape.
Many estates are now offering this classic style in some shape or form with takes on Chardonnay Pinot Noirs, Merlot Rosé, Pinotage Rosé, Voignier Rosé, Moscato, Sauvignon Rosé, Chenin Pinotage, Grenache Noir Voignier, Cinsault, Shiraz Rosé etcetera etcetera. Rosé is here to stay, and everyone has their favorite, so why not find yours?
